Comparison between identified sample and Confucian ideals for relationships
Similarities:
Older Brother and Younger Brother:
Filial piety and brotherly respect are the root of humanity (jen). (1:2)
When Peter is in a dangerous situation during the fight, Edmund willingly sacrifices himself to fight for his brother. And when Peter sees his brother injured by trying to save him, he fights the witch to seek revenge for Edmund.

Ruler and Subject:
Confucius said, "If a ruler sets himself right, he will be followed without his command. If he does not set himself right, even his commands will not be obeyed." (13:6)
When Aslan dies by trying to save his subjects (in this scene, Lucy and her sister), Lucy tries her hardest and attempts to save Aslan.

Friend and friend:
Confucius said, "It is more shameful to distrust our friends than to be deceived by them."
Mr. Tumnus decides not to deceive Lucy because he realized that she was his friend. He repeatedly sobs out, "Sorry," because he feels a lust of shame and guilt from trying to turn her in to the White Witch. Mr. Tumnus even risks his own life in order to safely escort her back to the wardrobe (Lucy's home).

Confucius said, "They are in regard to the aged, to give them rest; in regard to friends, to show them sincereity; in regard to the young, to treat them tenderly."
Lucy being a young friend, Mr. Tumnus treats her 'tenderly' by treating her to sweets and gives her warmth and comfort by sheltering her in his small home. He shows her sincerity by admitting his sins (trying to turn her in to the White Wtich) and making them up to her by safely escorting her life (which endangers his life).

Differences:
Older Brother & Younger brother:
Filial piety and brotherly respect are the root of humanity (jen). (1:2)
Though in the later of the movie, the two brothers are very loyal towards each other, it was not so in the beginning. Edmund had betrayed Peter to follow the seductive witch into rebelling his brother. However, according to the sayings of Confucius, there should be no disobedience, or betrayal between brothers.

Friend & Friend:
Confucius said, "Faithfully admonish your friend, and skillfully lead him on. If you find him impracticable, stop. Do not disgrace yourself."
Although Mr. Tumnus firmly warns Lucy not to come back to Narnia, she comes back bringing all of her brothers and sisters. Mr. Tumnus quite clearly found his warnings to be useless but still hung onto Lucy as a friend. He should have stopped being her friend after finding her impracticable. This almost kills him because he gets caught by the White Witch that he had helped a human being.
